About Us

Hi! We are Tony and Karyl, owners of the Whirligig Popcorn Shoppe, opening in downtown Wilson in early 2023! We have watched our four kids grow up here in Wilson, and we are so grateful for the bonds we have created with our friends and community here. We love this community, and we can’t wait to become an even bigger part of all the great things happening around here! For many years, our family has popped our own popcorn at home, the old fashion way, in a pot on the stove. Popcorn was always a staple in our house, our favorite family snack for movie and game nights.

No one can resist the smell of freshly popped popcorn, it’s for anyone and
everyone. We hope to continue to bring families together around our community
and around America by sharing our delicious popcorn flavors and premium
candies with all our wonderful new local and on-line customers and friends.
